Wesley Alan Baker, 68, passed from this life peacefully on June 30, 2023 at his home in Conroe, Texas. He was born on October 2, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio to his parents, Claude E. Baker and Naomi Jean Baker. Wes and his wife Patty owned the Sundance Management and Booking Agency. Wes and Patty booked bands such as Buddy Lee & The BackRoad Band, J.C. & The Water Walkers, Eddie Turner & The Trouble Twins, David Booker Band, Triple Slice Band and Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash. Wes was a big part of the Colorado music community and will be missed.
Wesley’s trade throughout his life was in the Automotive Industry, where he enjoyed being an Accessory Installer for over 30 years. He also enjoyed going to concerts with his wife and their friends, and he had attended many throughout his lifetime.
He loved the outdoors, videography, and photography, and enjoyed traveling to as many places he could with his favorite travel companion Patricia. He found great pleasure in capturing all the places they’d visit, whether in video or still shots, of all the delicious and different kinds of food they would experience, the wildlife and breathtaking scenery all around them, as well as reflecting the beautiful moments shared, all the people they’d meet, and the many memories made that are now the gifts he has left behind to continue to keep him close until we meet again!
A celebration of life was held July 21, 2023. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Patricia Baker and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his precious family of dogs Dodger, Rocky, and Ketchum.
Donations can be made to the American Humane Society and/or the American Alzheimer’s Association in Wesley’s honor.
