Robin Charles George Sidebotham (1956 – 26 April 2024) was a British rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. He achieved success during 1985 with the song “Heartline”, which peaked at #68 in the UK Singles Chart and #92 in the US Hot 100 (#40 in the Mainstream Rock chart). The single was featured on George’s debut album Dangerous Music (1984). Born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire (nowadays West Midlands), George collaborated with several artists during his career including David Byron, Phil Lynott, Glenn Hughes, Robert Plant, John Wetton and Magnum. Born in 1956, George died on 26 April 2024, at the age of 68.
