Famed Midnight Riot label head Andy Williams is sadly the latest to be added to the list of those we’ve lost.

The music producer, who also was known to fans as Yam Who?, was a popular member of the U.K. music scene for over thirty years and founded the popular music label Midnight Riot, according to MixMag.
What was Midnight Riot founder Andy Williams’s cause of death?

On Thursday, March 6, news of Andy’s death began to circulate throughout social media, as various artists from the music scene and those who worked closely with him throughout his career, posted about his passing.

As of now, there has been no news regarding his cause of death or the circumstances surrounding his passing. Additionally, none of his family members has spoken out, as the news of his death spread.

Founding Member D’Wayne Wiggins of Iconic R&B Group Dead at 64

By Miguel A. Melendez, Men’s Journal || D’Wayne Wiggins, a founding member and guitarist of the iconic R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!, has died. He was 64. The group made the tragic announcement Thursday on social media, just days after sharing that Wiggins had been “experiencing medical complications.” The group later shared Wiggins had been battling bladder cancer.

“With broken hearts, we share with you that our beloved D’Wayne passed away this morning surrounded by family and loved ones. Over the past year, he has been privately and courageously battling bladder cancer,” the statement read. “Through this fight, he remained committed and present for his family, his music, his fans and his community. D’Wayne’s life was incomparable, and his music and service impacted millions around the world, including in his hometown of Oakland, California.”

The statement continued, “He was a guitarist, producer, composer, philanthropist, mentor and founding member of Tony! Toni! Tone! He was deeply passionate about providing artist development and mentorship to emerging young musicians, helping to shape the early careers of many. For now, we ask that you continue to respect our privacy. We mourn with you, and are deeply grateful for your love and support.”

The band signed off, “In Solidarity, The Wiggins Family.”

Tony! Toni! Toné! featured Wiggins’ brother, Raphael Saadiq, and Timothy Christian Riley. The band rose to prominence in the 1980s after launching in Oakland. Their Sons of Soul album achieved the band’s greatest success when it went double platinum. But they’re perhaps best known for their 1996 classic, “Let’s Get Down.”
