Denver has lost a remarkable soul. David Michael Dinsmore passed away suddenly on February 10th, 2024, leaving a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Denver music community. His passing was announced with great sadness by his family, marking a significant loss. David’s life was a beacon of love, music, and family, touching everyone who knew him.

Miles Dinsmore has organized a GoFundMe to help out the family. Miles wrote: It is with the greatest sadness that I have to announce the passing of David Michael Dinsmore on February 10th, 2024.

His sudden passing is a massive shock to his family and friends, and this loss has left a large void in our lives.

David was a shining star in all aspects of his life, having left a mark on every single person he encountered.

He was a loving husband, father of two children, and a true family man.

He was a career musician and fixture in the Denver music scene, with his musical roots tracing back to Junior High jazz band. His passion for music encompassed every second of his days, leading him to meet his best friends and his heroes, and to bring his light to practically every stage in Colorado.

Through the business he owned with his wife Michelle, he was able to serve so many people and bring joy to their lives, which he loved to do as a makeup artist. On at least one occasion, David did a bride’s makeup and then performed music at her wedding.

His devotion to serving other people has left a legacy of pure love, joy, incredible music, and nothing but good memories for each of us that knew him.

I have made this GoFundMe to ensure that David’s memory can be honored through a beautiful service, which is currently being planned. Additionally, this will ensure that his family can focus on honoring his memory and help each other through this incredibly difficult time.

These funds will be used for the costs of the service and any medical and funeral costs.
