Jim Moore, of the band Moore, writes: Keyboard player Danny Singer has passed away. There’s been 3 Danny’s in the band so I understand the confusion. My favorite Danny story was when George pitched Danny as his replacement… we were at Iliff Park [Saloon] (cause of course we were), Danny was so happy he got super drunk in the booth. He was all “Oh shit. I got really drunk.. Did I ruin it?” I said, “Hell, no! This makes you perfect!!”
This hurts for real.
I can’t believe it. I hoped it wasn’t true. Danny was one of my best friends, band mate, confidant and amazingly sweet and wonderful person. I can’t believe you’re gone. Rest in power, brother.

Joe Van Schoyck: Wish one of us could have caught you in time, brother. You are a great friend to many of us. I will keep the many memories of our friendship close.
