By Jacob Factor, KDVR-TV News | Denver Botanic Gardens’ CEO of nearly 20 years, Brian Vogt, has died, according to the organization. He was 66. Vogt was the CEO since 2007, and the organization posted the announcement Tuesday afternoon on Facebook, calling him “an exceptional leader, mentor and friend.”
The organization said the Gardens would not be what they are today without Vogt’s leadership through the years. His dream for the Gardens, to make it a “garden for all people,” came true through his vision.
