In Memoriam|

(Last week we ran an article about Mr. Roach getting married in the hospital lobby… ) By Nouman Rasool, Celeb Tattler | David Roach, lead singer of ’80s hard-rock band Junkyard, has died at age 59 following a battle with aggressive squamous cell carcinoma, the band announced via social media. Their 1989 self-titled debut on Geffen Records featured tracks like “Blooze” and “Simple Man,” charting modestly at No. 105 on the Billboard 200. Though the follow-up Sixes, Sevens & Nines didn’t chart, it produced the radio favorite “All the Time in the World.” After their split in 1992, the band reunited in the early 2000s and released a comeback album, High Water, in 2017.
