Jim Moore, of the band Moore, writes: Keyboard player Danny Singer has passed away. There’s been 3 Danny’s in the band so I understand the confusion. My favorite Danny story was when George pitched Danny as his replacement… we were at Iliff Park [Saloon] (cause of course we were), Danny was so happy he got super drunk in the booth. He was all “Oh shit. I got really drunk.. Did I ruin it?” I said, “Hell, no! This makes you perfect!!”
This hurts for real.
I can’t believe it. I hoped it wasn’t true. Danny was one of my best friends, band mate, confidant and amazingly sweet and wonderful person. I can’t believe you’re gone. Rest in power, brother.
Erik Grove: Oh damn. Laptop. I can’t believe it. So sorry to hear this.
Joe Van Schoyck: Wish one of us could have caught you in time, brother. You are a great friend to many of us. I will keep the many memories of our friendship close.
Now, I’m going to have to find the Trip Hammer flyer and post it. The day we drove around in your van for the photo shoot we did. Your driving was not the best. Lol. What a fun day! Jamming in Larry’s basement. Many more. RIP, brother
