By Sam Stevenson, Newsweek | Bo Lueders, guitarist for Harm’s Way and co-host of the HardLore podcast, has died, prompting an outpouring of grief across the hardcore music and podcast communities. Lueders was a central figure in modern hardcore, both on stage and behind the mic.

News of Lueders’ death was shared by the HardLore podcast team in a post on Instagram. According to metal-archives.com, he was 38.

“It is with heavy, broken hearts that we share that our beloved Bo Lueders has passed away,” the post said.

The message emphasized how he will be remembered for his “unwavering empathy and compassion” toward friends and family, as well as his “magnetic, inimitable presence on & off the stage.”
