Barb Dye: Andy was always such an upbeat person. He did stupid things just to make for laughs. But always with a good heart. I video’d his bands on several occasions as they were great showmen and put on a good show. Always fun to attend. Austin Ross, Danny Gunn (Parker), Chris Dellinger (now owner of the Wild Goose Saloon), and so many more musicians who were always chasing “the dream”. You will definitely be missed, Andy. May you now rest in paradise and be making all your buddies who went on before you laugh their heavenly heads off.
Jason Hayes: Sorry brother! Really loved the shows and time I got to spend with Andy Pfeiffer and You! Was just talking about the days of closing the bars and heading to the warehouse til morning. Setting up that old Shotguns stage they were getting rid of as a drum riser!! This one hurts!
Brian Patrick Hagman: Ha… the stripper stage… that thing was awesome … cell phones weren’t very good yet but we should’ve got some kind of video… that place was siiiiiick… so Andy.. big ol aquariums , I think he had a water bed up there too? all I know is he’d fall between the bed and the wall and we couldn’t find him for hours…
Suzanne Magnuson: Aw dang. That’s very sad news. I’m so sorry. He was always very kind and such an advocate for Denver music.
Michael Smith: Thank you for sharing. I cherish the few years spent around Andy, you, BL and the whole shebang.
Dali Magno: This is sad news to hear. RIP Andy 69 forever rock, you were a good soul to know on this earthly plain.
Thickas Thieves: One of the most epic dudes ever!
Ashleigh Ramondi: My brother was in this band, Danny– lost him in 2009. As you know miss, him everyday.
Justin Jones: I couldn’t believe this news and didn’t want to accept it. Andy was a bro, he always showed up at the most insane times in my life. Love him for it, and I’m grateful for all the jams, and time spent with him…RiP brother
Stephanie Eaton: I think and feel that he has so many friends, Ds and memories. I am beyond broken about this. I had that sick feeling when I couldn’t get a hold of him around his birthday. We always stayed in touch.
