By Marina Watts, People | On July 20, Savannah, 23, shared a photo of herself and the music manager, who died on Aug. 7. Blackstock had his arm around Savannah in the photo, posing among the trees and greenery.
“Back home to the mountains & my daddy,” she wrote on Facebook alongside pictures of her 3-year-old Lake, whom she shares with husband Quentin Lee.
Blackstock shares Savannah and son, Seth, from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth.
A couple of weeks before posting the family photos, Savannah announced that she was pregnant.
“We’ve been keeping a couple sweet surprises,” the Florida-based realtor wrote on Instagram on July 5. Her page has since been set to private. “One little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family.”
A rep for Blackstock’s family told PEOPLE in a statement that the former music manager died on Aug. 7. “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” the statement said.
“Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”
