In Memoriam|

From Mark Sundermeier: Needless to say I’m sad today. I just learned of the passing of my friend Kyle Deibler. As a person who has been a large part of the music scene in Colorado for many, many years…I have to tell you that we’ve lost one of the best ones.

As a long time booking agent and musician, I deal with many different entities and businesses. When Kyle was president of CBS (whom I’ve dealt with for three decades now), they awarded me as a lifetime member and supporter of Blues music in 2020. I will always be deeply thankful for that.

Kyle was a huge supporter of music, a funny guy and was very knowledgeable about music in general. We talked many, many times for hours about our mutual deep love for music which I clearly cherish. I will miss him. Rest well pal.

It’s not a loss for me…but for ALL of us friends.

Super heavy heart today…

Let your folks know you love them…ya never know…

Niecie Blues: I’m devastated to wake up to the news my friend Kyle Deibler passed away. He was a such a gentle, kind soul. He was a relentless advocate for the National Women in Blues and a huge supporter of the Blues community. Fly high my friend. You will be missed by so many.

Michele Seidman: We lost Kyle Deibler the day after the showcase. He and I had spoken many times during the event and the following morning. I know he was checking in on a lot of us during IBC. That was Kyle. He always cared and checked in. When I went through my medical hell, he was there for me. When he was recently hospitalized I bugged him a lot and tried to be there for him.

We all lost one of the kindest human beings to walk this earth. I’m at a loss to say much because my hearts been aching since I heard.

Kyle was born December 16, 1958 and died on January 10, 2025. He had been ill for some time.
No services have been set at this time. A memory page has been set for him if you would like to leave a message for his family. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/ft-collins-co/kyle-deibler-12198543
