In Memoriam|

Paul Evers (photo from his Facebook page)

From Michael Morrow on Fb, 4/22/20: Our friend Paul Evers you will be missed. I had a good talk with him 2 weeks ago. The prognosis for his cancer wasn’t good but he didn’t give a damn what they said. He was a part of the KISSm Krew helping us load and tear down. Always had a smile. Bassist for Pipe Wrench Fight. Rest in Peace. My condolences to his family and Jeana Ramirez

Bobby Aragon: I wanted a skateboard more than anything, he got it for me. I’ll never forget, Tony Hawk Birdhouse, Venture Trucks, Spitfire Wheels, Swiss Bones, the works. Most of the family didn’t know that you ate peyote on green mountain, and saw freshwater sharks underneath us. Thank you for believing in me when others thought I was crazy. I remember sneaking away and smoking bowls with you during the holidays; everyone always got mad at us for getting high. The fact is he never wanted to be low. His music was his weapon, his heart was solid gold, he was my Uncle. I trusted him more than I trusted most. He was the uncle you could tell anything to. He passed on this morning at 4:20 AM. I’m going skating today.

Paul Evers – your soul lives on… Rest King.

Love, your nephew – Bobby Aragon

It is so sad to see the listing of just “famous people” who have died from COVID-19, not only musicians but other artists, sports figures, politicians, actors, jurists and so many more. Please stay home – keep YOUR names and those of your loved ones from being added to this list.
