Thoughts and Prayers|

Ahead of the Outlaw Musical Festival stop in Alpharetta, Ga., on Friday, June 21, a message shared to Nelson’s social media accounts revealed that the country crooner would not be taking the stage for health reasons.

“We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor’s orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days,” the statement shared to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) on Friday read.

According to his team, Nelson, 91, is “expected to make a quick recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.”

Despite the disappointing news, fans planning to attend this weekend’s shows won’t have to miss out on Nelson’s songs entirely, as Lukas Nelson and the Family Band, along with a few guests, will be performing a “special set to include Willie’s classics and other songs” while Nelson recuperates.
