It’s time to get your registration in for this year’s Blues Challenge! The winners will represent Colorado Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis 2024. Bands, Solo/Duo acts and Youth bands needed. First round will be at Nissi’s, August 27th, second round at Herman’s Hideaway, October 8th, and the Finals will be October 22nd at the Buffalo Rose.
CBS will host a send-off party Nov 19th at Buffalo Rose for the winners. Please go to the CBS website, https://www.coblues.org/2023-cbs-blues-challenge-the-road-to-memphis to download your entry form. Return the completed application, stage plot and BIO with application fee, ($25 for all entries payable to CBS). Applications must be received by August 18th, 2023.
Also, if you would like to be entered in the “Best Self Produced CD” Challenge, please bring 7 CDs to either the round at Nissi’s or Herman’s Hideaway and give them to our president, Tracy Fitzke. The winner of our local challenge will be entered in The Blues Foundation CD Challenge. Deadline Oct. 8th.
