According to Tulsa World, the singer/songwriter is in stable condition after suffering a heart attack last week. Russell, 74, was set to play in Boca Raton over the weekend at the Funky Biscuit, but the shows have been re-scheduled for November 18 and 19. He is also postponing his other Florida stops in Key West, Clearwater, Melbourne, and Pensacola.

Russell has a career that includes collaborations with the Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Elton John, and the Rolling Stones and is currently touring his solo album, “Life Journey,” which was released in 2014.

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2011.

Joe Perry – Aerosmith / Hollywood Vampires

Short note: Also pray for the speedy health recovery of Joe Perry (Aerosmith, Hollywood Vampires). He, too, collapsed on stage a few days ago, reportedly from exhaustion and dehydration. Got to drink that water, folks!
