Chris Kresge: For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Rocky Mountain Music Relief Inc. I’ve chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I’ve included information about Rocky Mountain Music Relief Inc. below.
Rocky Mountain Music Relief, Inc, a Colorado based non-profit organization, was formed in 2017. We originally formed to raise money to help those affected by flooding in Texas that year. In February 2020 COVID-19 hit – and with it, nearly the entire live music industry here in Colorado until a time as yet unknown – as of 15 March 2020. In the past we teamed up with Musicares. They do best at supporting musicians on a national level. Our quest is to help out at home, in Colorado, as best we can and are able.
The Mission: to provide financial and in-kind support to those individuals, groups and organizations within the music industry that have been impacted physically, financially and/or emotionally due to the occurrence of natural disasters or unforeseen tragedies within their communities.
The Vision: to have a well-supported, vibrant music community in the Rocky Mountain region by providing resources, funding and community support.
