On Sunday, May 3, something truly historic is happening – and you’re invited! The Highlands Ranch Concert Band will be celebrating 25 years of music and memories at a free concert at Rock Canyon High School, 5810 McArthur Ranch Rd, Littleton, Colorado, starting at 3:00 pm with a reception to follow.
The special encore program features works performed over the years, including the exotic sounds of “Arabesque,” “Gershwin by George,” “Symphonic Beatles,” and selections from “West Side Story.”
Special guests will include the band’s founding conductor, Mark Wurst, Joe Brice, conductor emeritus, Bruce Fox, and trombone soloist Neil Guy, former associate conductor.

Highlands Ranch’s very own 20-piece big band presents “Swing Into Spring,” an afternoon of instrumental and vocal jazz, heavy on the swing!
Enjoy classics from Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Irving Berlin, and Leonard Bernstein, or the unique stylings of Cab Calloway, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billy May. From sultry ballads to hot Latin dazzlers, from show tunes to dance favorites, there’s a little bit of something for everybody.
