Photo: Dave Glasser | 2023 marked Airshow’s 40th anniversary, and it was a good year indeed: We welcomed many returning clients, and made new friends. Our work with The Grateful Dead continued with the 50th anniversary release of “Wake of the Flood” and Bob Weir’s “Ace” as well as several LP reissues including “Bear’s Choice!” We were blown away by the new Mr. Sun album – and we think you will be too. We send good wishes to Sam Bush at the upcoming Grammy Awards for his John Hartford tribute, “Radio John.” We enjoyed The Third Mind’s sophomore release, Dennis Quaid’s gospel album, bluegrass from Jim Lauderdale, rock & roll from Firefall, and had fun with the Lost Planet Airmen reunion.
We filled our minds and ears at shows at some of our favorite Colorado venues – Telluride Bluegrass (at 50, they’re older than Airshow), Dead & Company at CU’s Folsom Field, Red Rocks, the historic Boulder Theater, and the gem of eTown Hall. Seeing our far-flung clients perform when they come through our area is an ongoing source of inspiration.
We wish all of our clients and friends a happy new year, and we hope to see you soon!
