Celebrate the spirit of the season with an evening of warmth, reflection, and joy. The Chamber Music Society of Greater Denver invites you “Home for the Holidays” —a festive program weaving together beloved carols, classical gems, and musical surprises from around the world.
From the haunting beauty of ’Twas in the Moon of Wintertime and O Holy Night to the lively rhythms of Michael Lösch’s Klezmer Duets, this concert captures the many ways music brings people together in celebration and community.
Audiences will delight in fresh arrangements—culminating in Britten’s luminous setting of Samuel Barber’s Sure on This Shining Night. Whether through the shimmer of flutes, the glow of harp strings, or the joyful energy of familiar tunes reimagined, “Home for the Holidays” offers a musical homecoming filled with grace, humor, and heart.
Join us as we ring in the season with music that reminds us why—wherever we may be—there’s no place like home.
