Country Takes Over the Hot 100! Ella Langley + MTV VMAs | Innervision FM Music News
Country is taking over the charts! In Tuesday show on YouTube.com/@Innervisionfm1240 Johnnie J, Allen C and Hey Joe talk Ella Langley, the Billboard Hot 100, the MTV VMAs, music history and the latest music news.
Plus, we’ll recap our Jazz & R&B in the Dark show at Spangalang this past Saturday! We brought in $475 at the door, and Spangalang liked Toni Negus and the show so much that they want Toni back for his own one-hour First Friday performance!
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported Innervision and our artists.

Moms Who Rock Open Mic Sunday, October 4th
It’s my favorite thing in the world to create new offerings because an artist says, “Hey, we NEED this!” and I get to say, “How can we make it happen?!” That’s exactly how Moms Who Rock OPEN MIC was born—and we’re SO excited to launch it on October 4!
Come grab a 15-minute slot as a musician mom—or grab a seat, cheer wildly, and enjoy the music plus new material from local women comedians. There’s onsite childcare while musicians perform, because “Mooooom!” is not technically backing vocals.
What: Moms Who Rock
When: Sunday, October 4 | 1:00–4:30 PM
Where: Lot 46, 5302 West 25th Avenue, Edgewater (just west of Sloan Lake)
Time: 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. | Sign-ups start at 12:30 PM, first come, first served.

Not local or already booked? You can still help make this thing rock. A donation helps us sustain Moms Who Rock as a regular offering.
Because this is what community healing can look like at Athena: a stage, a free babysitter, a mic — and moms acknowledging the truth about life while caregiving within systems that still don’t support families nearly enough.
And now we want to hear how collective healing looks where you are. Do you offer an arts-based healing practice, or have you witnessed art helping people in distress recover, reconnect, resist, or reclaim joy?
Share your offering or story through our 2026 #ArtHealsCommunities campaign!
For me? Every day at Athena heals my world! With my incredibly talented team, I get to create spaces in Denver and online where art heals communities—and where underrepresented artists are heard, loud and clear. Join us as a board member, FemPower Funder, or volunteer, and be part of the magic. We definitely need YOU!
