Each month COMBO features songs from mostly Colorado Songwriters on its website. These songs are gleaned by COMBO’s Board Member and Secretary Mark King from many sources including the internet but mostly from entries into COMBO’s annual Songwriting Contest.

Mark deserves a lot of credit for helping out unsigned songwriters by spending a lot of time listening to songs, uploading them, and featuring them. If you have a song that you would like to be featured on COMBO’s website, send him an MP3 to Mark@coloradomusic.org, along with a little information on the song. And if you haven’t entered it into our Songwriting Contest, please do so. Information under “Songwriters’ Corner” on the COMBO website.

Registration Has Started for The Fall Session of the Durango Songwriters Expo in Westminster
Colorado and region songwriters are so lucky to have such an event being held close-by to help them with their songwriting. Workshops, seminars, critiquing sessions, showcases, open mic nights, networking, and so much more – You’ll find it at the Durango Songwriters Expo being held October 5th thru 7th at the gorgeous Marriott Hotel in Westminster, Colorado. Sign up by June 20th and get an extra 4th Listening Session! More fun if you can stay at the hotel – jamming with other songwriters, possibility of you being able to showcase for the many professionals there (think Meghan Trainor!), and just plain safety – don’t drive home drowsy!
