Learn the basics of building a portable, solar powered audio setup for your next music show, street protest, or community event.
This is an outdoor workshop, designed especially for people with little-to-no audio/tech experience, led by local sound engineer/musicians, Kate Warner & Shannon Webber.
Participants will leave with a basic understanding of the following:
– how to calculate the size (and pricing) for audio setup they might need
– what kind of electronic components are utilized
– how to connect and adjust components
– important safety tips!
We will use an example setup to demonstrate these connections and offer hands-on learning access!
We will also be discussing other potential solar applications, and hold a brief Q&A session at the end.
No supplies or experience is required, but please bring whatever you need to be comfortable outside.
