There’s a special alchemy behind every SoFar show that makes them both unrepeatable and unforgettable. This week, catch a little magic with a unique concert that is guaranteed to only happen once. COMBO has presented a few programs on “How to Put on a House Concert” and now’s your chance to actually attend one! SoFar Sounds will be putting on a House Concert in the University Hills area of Denver and you’re invited to participate.
Come get an idea of how YOU can put on your very own house concert – whether for yourself or for a musician friend! Easy to do and can really help promote local music/musicians.
When you purchase your ticket(s), you’ll be given the address of the “venue”. Since this is a private residence, car-pooling is suggested for easier parking (and to keep the neighbors from getting upset). Go to https://www.sofarsounds.com/events/55045 to purchase your tickets. This is also a “Guess Who the Band Is” event! The point of these shows is to promote bands “under cover” so you’ll get to see a terrific band but you won’t know who or what style they are until you get there! Also, this is a BYOB event, and you may have to also bring your own lawn chair. Please read SoFar’s directions very carefully.
