THE DROP 104.7 is proud to return as co-presenter of the 15th annual Juneteenth Music Festival. This year’s main stage belongs to two-time Grammy-nominated R&B sensation SiR.

Before stepping into the spotlight, SiR co wrote songs for legends like Ginuwine, Jill Scott, and Anderson .Paak. Since his 2015 debut, SiR has built a devoted following with his smooth vocals, laid back hip hop production, and subtle jazz flourishes, making him a modern R&B staple.
“SiR’s artistry reflects the culture, resilience, and joy that Juneteenth embodies,” said Norman Harris, Executive Director of JMF Corporation. “For 15 years, it’s been an honor to lead this celebration — one that reflects the culture and spirit of Five Points and beyond. After stepping in during a critical moment last year, THE DROP 104.7 helped elevate the festival, transforming Welton Street into a powerful celebration of heritage and resilience. “I’m incredibly grateful for THE DROP’s continued commitment to uplifting our community,” said Harris. With renewed partnership and momentum, this year’s celebration will expand into a three day cultural experience.
