Our first performance of 2024 is a joint concert with our friends from the Thornton Community Band. A Sound Extravaganza will highlight some fabulous music from Great Britain. John Williams, James Horner and Jan Van der Roost are composers that have provided a wealth of great music for the brass band which thrills and inspires audiences with its high energy and simple beauty.
TCB is celebrating its 16th season serving the Denver area with their artistry, entertainment, and education. We are thrilled to partner with TCB where you will hear the wonderfully unique sounds of each group.
A highlight for this concert will be when our two bands join together, climaxing with the final movement of Respighi’s Pines of Rome.
