Neil Schon & Steve Perry
It was just announced that Journey will be inducted into the 2017 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. This induction is EXTREMELY overdue, but nonetheless they are going to be inducted. What makes this particular induction interesting is the dynamic between Steve Perry and member of Journey. Incase you’re unaware, Steve Perry has not been with Journey for a long time, now. There seems to be some unreconciled tension between them, but luckily, it seems like it’ll all be winding down come time for the ceremony. In fact, Neal Schon recently spoke regarding this issue and whether or not he would be open to reuniting with Steve Perry.
Neal Schon is asked if he thinks he can reconcile with Steve Perry: “You know, I have no clue. I definitely think that he will be there, as he should be. Musically speaking, I’d love to have him do a song with us or two, or whatever. What would be even greater would be for him to do a song with Arnel too. I’m open to everything. I’m very open-minded to whatever happens, and any ideas that are brought forth.”
