Performance High announced on November 2nd its Artist Sponsorship Program, which invests in Colorado’s working music community by providing free voice lessons and artist development coaching to local musical artists.
Performance High will sponsor two artists per year, one per six-month cycle, with artists selected in May and November. Each sponsorship includes twelve sessions and may combine voice lessons with artist development sessions, and be done in person or online. Those sessions can cover songwriting, career strategy, show booking, show planning, set list design, stage performance, and more. Performance High will also promote each sponsored artist on its own channels.
“Thanks to our community, we recently hit a huge milestone: our very own space in Arvada. Now we’re ready to give back even more to the Colorado music scene we grew up in, with a second financial assistance program beyond our Tuition Assistance Program,” said Adrienne Osborn, owner of Performance High.
Eligibility
To apply, artists must reside in Colorado and have performed at least two gigs in Colorado or released at least two singles online within the past twelve months. Applicants must also maintain an active social media presence representing their music. The program is open to artists in any contemporary genre, including original, tribute, and cover acts.
Applications are reviewed by the Performance High management committee, which prioritizes community visibility and engagement, financial need, and growth potential.

Adrienne here, with some exciting news: Performance High is launching a brand-new program… right now.
Thanks to our community, we recently hit a huge milestone: our very own space in Arvada. Now we’re ready to give back even more to the Colorado music scene we’ve grown up in, with a second financial assistance program.
About a year ago, we launched a Tuition Assistance Program that helps pay up to 50% of lesson cost for members experiencing temporary financial challenges.
Now, we’re launching a program to reach out into the music scene and connect with working artists, to find those who would benefit from some voice lessons or artist development coaching.
Introducing the Artist Sponsorship Program! Every six months, one Colorado artist will receive 12 free voice lessons and/or artist development consultations, a value of about $1,000. The requirements are simple:
- Be active in the Colorado music scene (at least two gigs or two releases in the last year)
- Have an active social media presence
- Be someone we believe we can help find greater success in music
We’ll also promote each other throughout the sponsorship.
