The Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME) and MSU Denver are launching a pop-up location for their brand-new DIME Denver program on November 15th, and I’d like to extend this invitation for you to come check it out. I’ll be in Denver for the event and I’d love to get the chance to meet you! Come join us to catch up, have some food and cocktails, enjoy special live performances, and see for yourself why DIME Denver is such an incredible program for aspiring young musicians.

One of the shining stars of the DIME Detroit program is a student named Kiara, who always knew that she wanted to work in A&R and began singing in order to make contacts in the music industry (even making it to final rounds of audition on The Voice and American Idol) . Through her studies at DIME, she has been able to work towards fulfilling her dreams and has been named Universal Music Group’s #2 college rep in the country. In her words, she’d like to be the “female version of LA Reed, and impact music the way he is.” Kiara is a perfect example of a strong female going after her goals in an industry that is still male-dominated, and she is an inspiration to women everywhere.

DIME Denver’s permanent location will open in fall 2017, and will offer musicians the opportunity to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Commercial Music Performance, Commercial Songwriting and Music Industry Studies.

Please let us know if you can make it! This is a MUST DO!
