By broadening the types of merch artists can offer to fans, Salamander aims to increase the non-streaming income of artists while creating new ways for fans to interact and connect with the artists they love.
Salamander consults with managers and labels to establish an understanding of what unique form of merch would best represent the musician’s brand. A custom instrument or effect is then created through a rapid prototyping process, ensuring the artist is connected throughout the
creative process. Once a final version is solidified, the artist can sell the merchandise to their fans. Fans can then create new music of their own using the merchandise purchased.
