Nashville’s New Music Showcase Accepting Performers: The New Music Showcase is accepting submissions to be a part of the annual event held Thursday, February 26th, 2015 Downtown Nashville, TN U.S.A. (music industry meet & greet 2pm, live performances 3:00 p.m.)  New Music Showcase provides an excellent opportunity to share your music with radio programmers from around the world in addition to an unprecedented opportunity to have your music heard by music industry heavyweights.

It’s that time of the year again in Music City U.S.A., Country music industry’s premier destination, when thousands of radio programmers and music industry professionals descend upon Nashville to network and check out new talent. We all know how hard it is to get your music heard, so here is the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door.  Secure your spot to showcase at Crossroads on Broadway, Downtown, Nashville, TN U.S.A.(one block from Renaissance Hotel Convention Center) and take advantage of all that Country Radio Seminar has to offer in what is one of the most important music weeks of the year in Country music.

For the past 7 years, the New Music Showcase has been an overwhelming success, spotlighting some of the hottest new talent at radio today. TELEBRANDS IS LOOKING FOR A JINGLE FOR IT HURRICANE SPIN MOP

FAIRFIELD, NJ – TeleBrands, the country’s leading “As Seen on TV” marketer has created a national contest to find an award-winning jingle for its blockbuster Hurricane Spin Mop. The winner will have their jingle featured in the next Hurricane Spin Mop infomercial, receive $1,000 in cash and a trip to the 2015 International Housewares Show in Chicago, Mar. 7-10 where the song will be unveiled.

Contestants enter by creating a 60-second video with a jingle for the Hurricane Spin Mop, titled “Hurricane Spin Mop Jingle Contest” and tagged with the hashtag #hurricanespinmopjingle.

The top 10 videos with the most views on YouTube will move on to the finals where the winner will then be selected by TeleBrands executives who will judge on three criteria: creativity/ originality, performance, and adherence to the creative assignment. FIVE POINTS JAZZ FESTIVAL LOOKS FOR VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

Five Points Jazz Festival seeks a volunteer coordinator for the 2015 Festival, Saturday, May 16. The volunteer coordinator will assist with the development of volunteer position descriptions as well as the recruitment and training of volunteers. This is a part-time contracted position from Jan.-May.
