Photo: Trouble Bound Band Denver | A funny-ish story: Recently, we were put in Spotify jail when our music ended up on a playlist full of bots who ran up the play counts. It was our fault for agreeing to pay for the placement- but the intent was really more innocent than trying to “manipulate streams” for monetary gain… just simply trying to get heard.
In all, we were removed over $16.80 in royalties. Kinda funny really, but also a cautionary tale… DO NOT BUY PLACEMENTS.
However, we are back today, hopefully wiser for the experience. But, we did refresh the brand in an attempt to distance ourselves from the “other trouble bounds.”
