Music Notes|

To our dear #WCM community: First of all, thank you for being here. We know that we’ve been quiet lately but it’s not because we have forgotten about you! We do however, have an update. As a community focused organization, we have made it our mission since day one to be able to provide as many opportunities and resources to you as possible and we hope that we have been able to provide some kind of support throughout this incredibly difficult time for our industry.

That being said, after much consideration, we have decided to pause all of our event programming until further notice. Our hope was to bring back our in person chapters in 2022, but with the uncertainty of COVID-19 variants combined with our limited resources, we are working on different ways to truly be able to help our community and make an impact.

From now until March 2022, when we celebrate our 5th anniversary, we will be putting our focus into collaborating with brand sponsors and members of our community to provide grants to songwriters to help with recording costs, as well as brainstorming other initiatives that aim to make our industry more accessible to those who need resources most.

In the meantime, we will keep the Facebook group active and keep you updated via this newsletter: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473397880752673/

We hope to hear from you!
