I’ve been working on a new initiative for the better part of this year — the Colorado Music Experience is a unique archive reflecting my passion for Colorado music history. I was inspired by the American Film Institute’s archives, where they provide a forum for everyone in the Hollywood community to tell his or her story. I’m motivated to do something similar for my home state.
Accordingly, CoME is a non-profit organization preserving the legacy of Colorado music through podcasts, videos (mini-documentaries), profiles and photo galleries. We’re relying on support from music enthusiasts and friends. That’s you.
So…we’ve just launched the site! Please visit us at http://colomusic.org and then:
• Like us on Facebook — https://www.facebook.com/colomusic.org/
• Subscribe to the podcasts, etc., on any individual page
• Tell every music fan you know to do same!
A lot of wonderfully talented people have worked on the project, and there’s a ton of content still to come—we’re really proud of the podcasts. I hope you’ll check in with me directly and let me know what you think—any feedback or support means the world to me, both professionally and personally.
Thank you!G. Brown
