Musician and Educator Ron Miles began his artistic journey in the 1980s playing with the Boulder Creative Music Ensemble. It was there that the seeds of his creative journey began; over decades, he educated and influenced hundreds of musicians in the global improvisation and creative music communities.

This October, MSU Denver will honor Miles’ legacy in five separate concerts showcasing musicians both local and international for whom Miles was a significant influence.

In addition to the remarkable music in this series, attendees will experience breathtaking visual art and set design by Elicia James and Brandon Case.

To further honor Miles’ commitment to creating access in music and higher education, all proceeds from this series will go to the MSU Denver Ron Miles Scholarship fund.

Saturdays, Oct. 7 – Nov. 4
7:00 pm, 800 Kalamath, Denver
