The Mile High Blues Society is holding it preliminary round for the Road to Memphis Blues Challenge on August 18, at Rockabillies. The winners of this challenge have the opportunity to compete in Memphis Tennessee in the Blues Foundations International Blues Challenge.
There are Three categories:
● Bands, Solo/Duos and Youth Bands: Bands are considered 3 or more individuals.
● Solo or Duo competitors (self explanatory)
● For the Youth Band category this year you may either compete to go to Memphis or you can just play a showcase during the event. If you choose to do a showcase you do not need to pay the entry fee. Youth bands are made up of individuals up to 20 years of age. If you are going to compete in Memphis, you are not eligible if you turn 21 before the end of the IBC on January 12, 2025.
