Photo: Meghan McNamara | Jessi Whitten, Levitt Pavilion | Levitt Pavilion Denver is excited to announce the appointment of Meghan McNamara as its Executive Director after an international search led by Arts Consulting Group Inc. With over fifteen years of experience in arts management and nonprofit leadership, McNamara has overseen programming, marketing, and partnerships for the Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater in Chicago. As Vice President of Programming and Audience, she curated the Harris Theater Presents programming, which brings innovative and boundary-pushing productions by world-renowned artists and emerging voices from around the globe to Chicago. Her career in the arts began with an internship at Molo Songololo, a child rights organization with arts-based programming in Cape Town, South Africa. Afterwards, she joined the team at Carolina Performing Arts. With her diverse arts and events background, McNamara brings a unique understanding of audience relationships and thoughtful community engagement to this role.

“After an exhaustive search, we are thrilled to welcome Meghan McNamara to the Levitt Pavilion Denver family. Her experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to bridge cultural gaps and ease divisions in our community through music,” said María Corral, Board Chair of Levitt Pavilion Denver.

McNamara will be relocating to Denver and officially starting on April 3rd. She will oversee Levitt Pavilion Denver’s mission to build community through music, including the nonprofit’s flagship program to bring free, all-ages concerts to Colorado each summer.

Levitt Pavilion Denver features an annual free concert series with local, regional, national and international acts in a relaxed, open lawn setting. They showcase a rich spectrum of music genres, including R&B, country, rock, Latin, blues, jazz, children’s music, and more. The venue also offers local food vendors, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and a family-friendly environment. The Levitt Pavilion Denver is going into its 6th concert season, with the free concert season kicking off on May 6th with legendary band Fishbone.
