Annette was notified that she was Nominated for the Colorado Nurses Foundation’s 2016 Nightingale Luminary Award. She says she is beyond thrilled and wants to thank her doctor colleague who nominated her, and sends thanks to those who wrote support letters for the nomination on her behalf. She is very appreciative.

In continuing to honor Excellence in Nursing, the Colorado Nurses Foundation presents the award. The Nightingale Awards event was founded in 1985 to honor nurses who best exemplify the philosophy and practice of Florence Nightingale, a 19th century nursing pioneer, who epitomized the art of helping people toward their optimal health.
