Ingrid Andress’ latest album Lady Like
“A signpost for modern female complexity,” (Billboard) Warner Music Nashville / Atlantic Records recording artist Ingrid Andress is nominated for three GRAMMY Awards and the only country artist nominated in the general field “Big Four” categories as a Best New Artist nominee.
Tied as this year’s most-nominated country artist alongside Miranda Lambert, she co-wrote and co-produced every song on her debut album, Lady Like, which earned a nod in the Best Country Album category as well. The critically-lauded project features her Platinum-selling, No. 1 debut single “More Hearts Than Mine,” also nominated for Best Country Song, and her current single “Lady Like,” which is currently climbing the country radio charts.
In addition, the 2020 CMA, ACM and CMT Music Awards nominee took home Song of the Year honors earlier this year from both the MusicRow Awards and NSAI’s Nashville Songwriter Awards. She has received widespread acclaim from outlets such as The New York Times, NPR, HUFFPOST, Entertainment Weekly, ELLE, Teen Vogue, WWD, PAPER and Wonderland to name a few and has made several national TV performances including appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden, TODAY, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The 54th Annual CMA Awards and The 2020 CMT Music Awards.

Ingrid Elizabeth Andress (born September 21, 1991) is an American country music singer from Colorado. Her debut single “More Hearts Than Mine” debuted at number 59 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart dated July 1, 2019. In March 2020, she released her first album Lady Like.
Andress was born in Southfield, Michigan and grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. As a child, she learned to play piano and drums while also participating in high school choir competitions at Rock Canyon High School. Andress attended Berklee College of Music and majored in songwriting and performance.
She founded an a cappella group called Pitch Slapped, which performed on the NBC singing competition The Sing-Off. Another one of her groups, Delilah, also performed on the show and placed sixth. After leaving the show, Andress finished her degree and underwent a mentorship with pop songwriter Kara DioGuardi. She then moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she began writing songs for artists such as Sam Hunt, Alicia Keys, and Charli XCX.
Andress signed with Warner Nashville in mid 2018. In 2019, she debuted with the single “More Hearts Than Mine”. The song has charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. Andress cites Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks as her musical inspirations, and notes that she always wants to write her own songs unless she finds an exceptional song written by someone else.
On March 27, 2020, she released her debut studio album Lady Like through Warner Music Nashville. Andress reached No. 1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart in April 2020 due to the chart arrival of Lady Like and the rise of her single “More Hearts Than Mine”, which reached the top five of the American and Canadian country charts. A deluxe edition of Lady Like was released October 2, 2020.
