Photo: Julie Geller’s 1926 Steinway Piano | As we continue to pack up our home in Denver to move to Israel, there is one final piece of the puzzle that remains to be settled: Who will be the next owner of our gorgeous 1926 Steinway piano? We bought this piano 16 years ago. It is on this piano that I wrote:

I spent many, many nights playing piano in the dark once everyone else was asleep. Countless times I dropped my kids off at school then, still in my PJs, raced home to work on a new song.
To say that this piano has a beautiful soul is an understatement.
I always thought I would pass her along to my children, but that’s not what we’ve chosen (not to mention that fact that none of my kids plays the piano!)
We have taken loving care of her, keeping her humidified and tuned. She is in wonderful condition.

Notes: Had a player piano component removed many years ago. It has been in Colorado for many decades. Soundboard is in excellent shape. Some minor scratches on the casing. Perfect for someone who is mainly interested in a rich sound, not a “show piano” that doesn’t gets played.
