The Songwriting Circle aims to provide guidance to new and existing songwriters in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas who are interested in learning about and experiencing the art of songwriting.
Every month, the class will feature a brief lesson covering various topics related to songwriting or the music industry. Additionally, there is a theme-based monthly songwriting challenge, where class members share the songs they have written over the month and discuss the inspirations and challenges they encountered while writing. Please note that performance skills are not required for participation.
When: Third Tuesdays, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Where: All Souls Unitarian Church, 730 N. Tejon St. Colorado Springs, CO 80903
Cost: We ask for a small donation at the end of the class to cover the rent: $5-$10 suggested.
Please bring your laptop/iPad and your cellphone, a notebook, a pen or pencil, 15 printed copies of your lyrics, and your instrument of choice.
