Last year one of the artists was Jeneve Rose Mitchell who appeared on American Idol. Jeneve is a true “country” girl and yodels as well as being a very good singer!
Recently Jeneve wrote to say that she had been chosen to play Patsy Cline at a local theater company’s production of Always… Patsy Cline. The musical will be presented over New Year’s weekend.

High Desert Opera is following up its successful 2-decade milestone last Winter with Always… Patsy Cline this New Year’s Eve weekend.
The Avalon Theatre will host the production, which will have 3 showings over the course of that weekend. Performances will be Dec. 29th at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 30th at 1:30 p.m., and Dec. 31st at 7:30 p.m.
HDO welcomes Western Colorado’s own Jeneve Rose Mitchell, who made it into the top 14 of American Idol at 15 years old, to the stage in the role of Patsy Cline!
