Zakk DeBono on Fb, 7/19/16: “If you don’t play guitar or any type of music except the radio and all you have accomplished is going to shows your whole life and you have absolutely no musical knowledge, you have no right to put down others’ music or guitar playing with criticism or hate when they are out there trying and working hard and being the best they can be. Every musician is unique and inspiring in some way if you open your heart and listen. The musicians working hard are the ones that look good and inspiring – not you sitting and making an ass of yourself with no goals at home – on a computer with no life but to put people down. That’s really sad….
Music has no rules and is open [to] anyone willing to put the work in. That’s the fun of the game. That’s the beauty of it. Have fun with it. FYI: you’re not welcome to give advice to people who actually give it a go and have pride in theirselves and love it!! Your word is useless here and you look like _______!
