By Aidin Viziri, San Francisco Chronicle | Grahame Lesh is bringing his late father’s music back home. The guitarist and bandleader announced that “Unbroken Chain: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh” will make its West Coast debut with a three-night run at the Fillmore in San Francisco from March 20-22.
The all-star concerts honors Phil Lesh, the influential Grateful Dead bassist, who died at 84 in October 2024.
Each night will feature Grahame Lesh & Friends joined by a rotating cast of guests performing songs from the Grateful Dead songbook.
The Fillmore dates follow the second annual East Coast edition of “Unbroken Chain” at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., running March 12 through what would have been Phil Lesh’s 86th birthday on March 15.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, via Ticketmaster.
