COMBO member Amy Whitesell (A Music Company) writes: I’m excited about this years concerts and festivals at Gold Hill Mesa, 142 South Raven Mine Drive, Colorado Springs 80805 | GOLD HILL MESA continues its tradition of the summer concert series, MUSIC ON THE MESA with a big announcement. In addition to the traditional free, late afternoon/evening concerts, there will also be two multi-act music festivals that are also free! As usual, there will be food trucks and adult beverages for purchase at all events. All concerts take place on Saturdays.

It is suggested that attendees bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

July 18th – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Funkology is the ultimate dance party and entertainment band consisting of professional, highly trained musicians with years of experience.

Aug. 15 – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Peak Big Band, Under the direction of Dan Bell, this 18 piece Peak Big Band blends classic swing with modern jazz energy with dynamic charts, tight grooves, and powerhouse performances.

Sept. 5 – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – SoapDish delivers an exciting and lively show of ceaseless, high energy dance music by melding the sounds of power-pop and rock music spanning the 80s to today.

Sept.12 – Noon to 6:30 p.m. – Boots on the Mesa is a music festival featuring three of the top Country Music bands from Colorado. (COMBO member) Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts – modern outlaw country band; Ashlee & The Longshot Revival; The Jason Wulf Band.

Sept.19 – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – The Tony Luke Band delivers a soul-stirring, passion-driven musical sound stretching from gritty, classic blues, rhythm & blues, funk, rockabilly and jump!

Sept. 26 – Noon to 6:30 p.m. – Rock’n on the Mesa is the second three band music festival and final concert of the season. It features Steely Dead, Zeppelin Alive, and Grizzly Gopher!
