Chris Daniels: I’ve been dyslexic all my life. It made things really difficult in my youth (you were singled out as one of the dumb kids – when the opposite was usually true for kids and adults with dyslexia) and it didn’t stop me from getting my BA and MA and teaching at CU Denver for 20 years. Dyslexia motivated me to strive and try harder in everything. This Sunday, the Kings, Freddi [Henchi] and I are playing a benefit for VSA which gives kids the kind of fighting chance that they need to succeed.
