Before moving to Colorado, Paul lived in Baltimore MD where he founded the Baltimore Songwriters Association. Since moving to Denver he has been active in a local songwriting group and he started a monthly songwriters showcase with three songwriters performing original songs in a round robin format. With an eye on diversity, the series always features at least one female songwriter and he also tries to book a wide range of ages-one promising songwriter last year was an 18 year old senior from East High School.
Paul’s latest album “How We Roll Now” came out late last year. It is available on all streaming platforms and available for download here: https://pauliwancio.bandcamp.com/ and https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/pauliwancio
When not songwriting or performing, Paul has been active blogging about unique Denver sights at http://www.wackydenver.org, volunteering for other music projects, blogging about technology in education, and working at Denver Public Schools as a coordinator of online professional learning.
