DURANGO SONGWRITERS’ CO-FOUNDER JIM ATTEBERY GIVEN AWARD

Jim Attebery, co-founder of the Durango Songwriters Expo with Jack Hayford, was presented with a special award representing the double-platinum status that singer/songwriter/performer  Meghan Trainor’s song, “All About That Bass” has achieved in the record books! Meghan co-wrote the song with Kevin Kadish. The award, a framed two-record plaque, was given to Jim at the Durango Songwriters Expo on Saturday night during the concert presented by Big Al Anderson (NRBQ), Lacey Carver, Anthony Smith, and Chris Commuto. Meghan asked her record company, Epic Records, to present the award to Jim as she felt he was the one person who really helped her in her songwriting career.
