The Fall Expo is happening October 8-10 in Broomfield, CO. Feel free to mark it on your calendar in advance. We’ll send an email out as soon as registration opens!
DURANGO COMMUNITY x JLSC
We have long been fans of the John Lennon Song Contest and the opportunities they offer to songwriters. We are excited to let you know that our very own Patricia Bahia and The January Lanterns, who met at a Durango Songwriters Expo, co-wrote a song called “Fade”, which has won the Grand Prize in the Folk category!
Now, they enter the most critical phase: Public Online Voting where the top 24 will be narrowed down to 12 finalists, from which the judges will select the overall Song of the Year. Public voting opened April 1st – let’s help these brilliant Durangoites win the Song of the Year! Everyone can vote once per day for the month, and when you vote, you also have the opportunity to enter into a Taylor Guitar drawing.

One Grand Prize winner in each category will win a Lennon Award and it’s all decided by YOUR votes.
To vote: Click the box next to the artist you wish to vote for, then click ‘Vote’. Repeat in each category that you wish to cast a vote in.
You can vote 1x PER DAY in every category, from April 1st through April 30th.
Only Lennon Award winners will move on to compete for the top prize, the $20,000 Song of the Year. Your vote matters!

Each time you vote and enter your email address you earn another “ticket” to win it! Your email address is necessary to be entered in the raffle.
