I’m tempted to write a summary, but I’ll just say: I’m turning 80 tomorrow (2/25/26), have a full-time job, and am self-employed as the 15-year director of the Wernick Method, a way of teaching people to jam together playing bluegrass. That’s a network of over 100 teachers using my Method!
It happens I’m on the cover of Bluegrass Unlimited magazine this month, with a sizable story of what I’ve been up to. I’m attaching it so you can read as much of it as you want, in answer to your [Barb’s] question. I’m still performing, but mostly locally and not as much overall. But I’m full time in my Wernick Method job, and doing some camp teaching besides.
Thanks for asking!
And keep doing what you’re doing, obviously a much-needed thing.
